About Horobin
Horobin was founded in Wolverhampton in 1825 by the two Horobin brothers - Benjamin and Alfred Horobin. It remained in the Horobin family until the 1930s and was bought by the Sanders family in 1958. We have a small, dedicated sales team, able to advise customers on all their requirements, with a technical sales manager who will go on site to advise and assist. 50% of Horobin's production is exported.

Initially Horobin only manufactured drain cleaning equipment, but when the testing of drains and sewers became mandatory in the 1930s, Horobin was one of the first companies to develop drain testing plugs. It is now the largest manufacturer in Europe of drain and sewer testing equipment. We manufacture test plugs from 12mm up to 3,000mm. Test plugs are manufactured in a range of materials to suit all markets - steel, cast aluminium and nylon are the most popular.

Horobin also manufactures inflatable stoppers in moulded PVC and canvas. Inflatable stoppers can also be supplied with a polyurethane coating for use in oil and gas pipelines.
Horobin has also developed a range of sewer jetting machines, and dragline machines for clearing sewers of sand and deposits. These machines have been sold in large quantities in the Middle East.

With their expertise in the construction industry, Horobin is able to supply a wide range of associated equipment such as hoists for lowering equipment down sewers, below ground rescue equipment, road signs and traffic cones, and general safety clothing.
